Muscle care for use in cold and wet weather conditions

Sportsbalm´s Red System comprises of four different muscle warming gels and balms, each of which possessing a specific application, suited to cold and wet weather conditions.

Each product in Sportsbalm´s Red System contains specifically selected ingredients to warm the muscles and tendons, keeping them optimally functioning, even in extreme weather conditions. The active ingredients penetrate deeply into the skin, without the risk of irritation or redness as blood is not taken to the upper layers of the skin. This allows optimal functioning of oxygen and nutrients, plus the excretion of waste products (CO2). Blood circulation and redistribution to the active muscles is therefore enhanced, preparing both the targeted muscles and connective tissues for activity.

All of the products in Sportsbalm´s Red System product line create a long lasting, warming effect, giving the skin a breathable layer through which the skin can optimally function without coagulating the pores.

Sportsbalm´s Red System product line uses a mixed base of pharmaceutical grade Vaseline and pharmaceutical white oil, ensuring optimally functioning ingredients and therefore successful results. Through thorough application, the unique blend of ingredients work continuously, protecting the skin, muscles and underlying tissues from cold and wet weather conditions.

Application: Massage thoroughly Rub Down Gel thoroughly into the desired muscles 15 – 30 minutes before exercise. Rub Down Gel works optimally between 10°c and 15°c.

Rub Down Gel is the most mild warming gel in the System Red System product line, ideally suited to younger athletes and those with sensitive skin. Rub Down Gel is to be used in cold and wet weather conditions, at temperatures from 10°C - 15°C. Rub down gel not only protects muscles and connective tissues, it also prevents the feet from getting cold and wet.

Medium Balm is a medium grade muscle warming balm. When thoroughly applied, Medium Balm acts as a protective, water resistant, breathable layer. It protects and insulates the muscles, whilst stimulating and thus enhancing the blood transport systems, keeping the capillaries open without coagulating the pores. Medium balm is suited to cold and wet weather conditions, at temperatures between 0°C and 10°C.

Hot Balm is a powerful muscle warmer, suited to extreme weather conditions below 3°C. It is also ideally suited to poor circulative areas, such as the knees, ankles and Achilles tendon. The ingredients are precisely balanced to ensure optimal function during extreme cold weather conditions.

• Warm-up Xtra (medium muscle warming gel, between 0°C and 10°C, water resistant) has a thinner constitution than Medium Balm enabling easier application.

Rub Down Gel
(1 Warm-X):
Rubbed in 15-30 minutes before working out, this mild muscle-warmer (25-40 F.) warms deeply while, providing a protective film on the skin. 
Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Cajeput Oil, Wintergreen, Cayenne, Paprika Oil, Nutmeg Oil.

Medium Balm
(2 Warm-XX):
Increases circulation by providing stimulating heat to the muscles with active natural ingredients that penetrate through nerve endings. For colder conditions (10-30 F.) than Rub Down Gel. 
Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Tea Tree Oil, Wintergreen, Cayenne, Paprika Oil, Nutmeg Oil.

Hot Balm
(3 Warm-XXX):
Increases circulation by providing stimulating heat to the muscles. For body parts exposed to the most extreme conditions (Below 0 to 10 F). 
Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Cajeput Oil, Wintergreen, Cayenne, Paprika Oil, Nutmeg Oil.
